Sales Executive – L4

Sales Executive – Level 4

Standard Overview

A Sales Executive is a sales person working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with responsibility to sell a specific product line or service.

They plan their sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage their sales internally within their organisation.

They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.

Typically, a Sales Executive will deal with a single point of contact for each sale, and will present a pre-considered value proposition. The entire sales process may be completed during a single customer ‘conversation’, or over a series of interactions.

Facilitation of Assessment

DSW has always had a ‘digital by default’ approach to end-point assessment; this allows us to provide greater flexibility for all stakeholders while reducing fees and our carbon footprint.

  • Interviews and presentations are conducted using web conferencing platforms and we’re flexible enough to use a platform of the employer’s choosing when required.
  • Written exams, MCQs and Case Studies are carried out online using an invigilated assessment platform
  • Portfolios and Projects are submitted to DSW in digital format for assessment
  • Our assessments are also administered using an online platform, epaPRO, which provides training providers with access to results, reports and dashboards.

This is all supported by named account managers and operations contacts who are here to support you at each step of the EPA journey.

Apprentices must achieve a minimum of a Pass in all three assessment methods to achieve an overall Pass and a Distinction in all three assessment methods to achieve an overall Distinction.

Any Apprentice who resits or retakes an assessment method will have the grade for that assessment capped at a Pass grade unless there are exceptional circumstances accounting for the original fail.
